Avatar: Last Airbender (de asemenea, cunoscut sub numele de avatar: The Legend of Aang), este un premiat cu Emmy si Peabody serial animat american care a fost difuzat timp de trei sezoane pe Nickelodeon şi de reţea Nicktoons. Seria a fost creat si produs de Michael Dante DiMartino şi Konietzko Bryan, care a servit ca producatorii executivi, împreună cu Aaron Ehasz. Avatar is set in an Asian-influenced world of martial arts and elemental manipulation. The show drew on elements from East Asian, South Asian, and Western culture, making it a mixture of what were previously traditionally separate categories of anime and US domestic cartoons.

The series follows the adventures of the main protagonist Aang and his friends, who must save the world by defeating the Fire Lord and ending the destructive war with the Fire Nation.
